Should Maijuana Be Legal?

Should marijuana be legal? I think it should be. There are many reasons why it should be legal one of them is it has more medical purposes than any other drug in the world. Another is that cigerattes are more harmful, have no medical uses, and they are addictive, but they are legal. So why isn't marijuana? Marijuana would also save the goverment money and it would make them money. In 2004 the government spent 4 billion dollars on enforcing marijuana laws. If marijuana was legal the government would save that money. Also if California taxed marijuana they would make an estimated $1.3 billion dollars.
